Ammar bin Humaid issues a decision regarding fees for lawsuits and applications at the Rental Disputes Settlement Center in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, issued Emiri Resolution No. (2) of 2026 regarding fees for claims and applications at the Rental Disputes Settlement Center in the Emirate of Ajman.

The decision stipulates that the Rental Disputes Resolution Center in the Emirate of Ajman will collect the prescribed fees for registering and registering claims and requests.

Pursuant to the decision, the Center collects from the appellant a deposit of (1,000) dirhams, if the contested ruling is within the final quorum of the Primary Rental Committee, and the appeal is due to a violation of the rules of jurisdiction related to public order, or to the occurrence of an invalidity in the ruling or decision, or an invalidity in the procedures that affected the ruling or decision.

According to the decision, the Case Management Office will not accept the appeal if it is not accompanied by proof of payment of this insurance, and the insurance will be confiscated if the appeal is ruled inadmissible.

The decision also specified a security deposit for the reconsideration petition, in the amount of (2,000) dirhams, which will be returned if the petition is accepted, and confiscated if it is ruled not to be accepted, rejected, or invalid.

The decision specifies the mechanism for collecting fines for rental violations, where the Rental Disputes Resolution Center is responsible for collecting the prescribed fines, and the Municipality and Planning Department may not collect fines again for the same violations.

The decision also abolished previous legislation related to judicial fees for rental disputes in Ajman, with some of them continuing to operate until the laws, regulations and decisions that replace them are issued.

The decision will be effective as of the beginning of this month, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
