Revealed Ministry of Municipalities and Housing represented by secretariats (The Holy Capital, Medina, Jeddah and Taif) conducted more than 20,000 field monitoring tours during the first ten days of The blessed month of Ramadan, as part of its seasonal operational plans aimed at enhancing compliance with municipal and health requirements, and raising the level of quality of services provided to pilgrims, visitors, and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
The Ministry explained that the tours included food, commercial, and health establishments, including restaurants, cafes, commercial markets, pharmacies, and health care facilities.
The field teams focused on verifying compliance with safety and health requirements. public, the safety of handling and preserving foodstuffs, and ensuring the validity of regulatory licenses, which contributes to protecting the health of consumers and enhancing the reliability of services in high-density areas.
Monitoring and addressing violations
The Ministry indicated that the oversight work was carried out according to a smart oversight methodology that relies on electronic systems to monitor violations and address them immediately, and link reports to clear escalation paths that ensure rapid response and processing of observations, thus enhancing the efficiency of field performance and raising the level of commitment among establishments.
The Ministry confirmed the continuation of oversight campaigns. Throughout the month of Ramadan, with intensified efforts within the central region and locations with high demand, to ensure the sustainability of a healthy and safe environment, and to improve the experience of the pilgrims, in line with quality of life goals.
