The UAE condemns the attempt to target Türkiye with an Iranian ballistic missile

Abu Dhabi, 5 March / WAM / The UAE strongly condemned the attempt to target the friendly Republic of Turkey with an Iranian ballistic missile, as NATO air defenses succeeded in destroying it before it reached Turkish territory, considering these hostile actions as a dangerous escalation, a blatant violation of the sovereignty of states, and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, in a statement, that expanding the circle of attacks to include brotherly and friendly countries is condemnable by all legal and political standards, and constitutes an unacceptable escalation that undermines efforts to calm the situation and increases regional tension.
