Resuming operation with a reduced flight schedule

A Flydubai spokesman said that the carrier has resumed operating flights across its network with a reduced flight schedule, while continuously working to update the operational schedule and adding more flights while lifting restrictions on airspace.
The spokesman explained that the company continues to monitor the situation closely, noting that the duration of some flights may be longer than usual as a result of the temporary diversion of some flight routes, stressing that the safety of passengers and crew members remains the highest priority.
The company called on travelers not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed reservation or official confirmation to rebook the flight.
The spokesman added that customers who have connecting flights through Dubai on the Flydubai network will not be allowed to travel to their original destinations unless the connecting flight is operating.
He pointed out that Flydubai’s call center is witnessing great pressure on calls, expressing the company’s appreciation for customers’ patience while its teams work to help everyone as quickly as possible.
The spokesman advised customers to check the flight status and see the latest information before heading to the airport, explaining that flights can be booked through the company’s website, the call center in Dubai, the Flydubai travel store, or through authorized travel agents.
The company also called on customers to ensure that their contact information is updated via the “Manage Booking” page to receive any updates related to their trips.
The spokesman explained that customers who booked their flights to travel between February 28 and March 31 have the right to rebook on an alternative flight to the same destination up to 30 days from the original travel date without any additional fees.
He added that customers who booked their trips through travel agents should contact the agent to obtain rebooking or refund options.
