Dubai Police Chief: The UAE continues Zayed’s humanitarian approach and consolidates the culture of giving

Dubai, 7 March / WAM / His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, confirmed that Zayed Humanitarian Work Day represents a solid national occasion in which the United Arab Emirates recalls the noble humanitarian values that the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, instilled in the people of the nation, those values that were based on the theme of giving, solidarity and human solidarity.
His Excellency said in a statement that the UAE’s celebration of this occasion is an affirmation of the continuity of the humanitarian approach established by the founding leader, and a consolidation of the country’s mission to spread the values of goodness and promote humanitarian work locally and globally, describing these values as an integral part of the country’s development and humanitarian journey, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, which continues to consolidate the UAE’s position as one of the most prominent countries supporting humanitarian and relief work in the world.
He pointed out that humanitarian work is an essential pillar in building cohesive and safe societies, and stressed that sustaining giving is a shared responsibility that requires concerted efforts between government and private institutions and community members, to establish the culture of giving and solidarity that characterizes UAE society.
He said that Dubai Police is inspired by this occasion the meanings of social responsibility and humanitarian work and is committed to promoting charitable and giving initiatives, in line with the state’s vision and strategy based on supporting people, preserving their dignity and enhancing the quality of their lives. Noting that the values established by Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, represent a continuous motivation for strengthening community partnerships and actively contributing to humanitarian and charitable initiatives that serve society and support the most needy groups.
