The Head of State visits the Ministry of Defence… and reviews the readiness of the armed forces

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, may God protect him, visited the Ministry of Defence, as part of His Highness’s follow-up of developments in the current situation, and being informed of the latest developments related to defense and military affairs, and the efforts made to enhance operational readiness and prepare for various challenges.

During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the readiness of the armed forces and their capabilities to deal with various urgent challenges, in light of the military escalation and its dangerous repercussions on security and stability in the region.

During the visit, His Highness the President of the State was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Ibrahim. Nasser Al-Alawi, the Military Affairs Advisor to the President of the State, Hamad Muhammad Thani Al-Rumaithi, the Head of the Executive Affairs Authority, Khaldoon Khalifa Al-Mubarak, the Advisor to the President of the State for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology, Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Bannai, and a number of senior officers of the Ministry of Defense.
