A philanthropist contributes 30 million dirhams in support of a campaign "Umm Al Emarat Endowment for Orphans"

Abu Dhabi, 9 March / WAM / A philanthropist made a contribution worth 30 million dirhams in support of the “Mother of the Emirates Endowment for Orphans” campaign launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority “Abu Dhabi Endowments”, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”

This contribution comes within the framework of supporting efforts aimed at establishing a sustainable endowment funding source for orphan care in the UAE, ensuring a more stable future for them and improving their quality of life, and contributing to enhancing social cohesion and consolidating the concept of endowment as a sustainable development tool.

This initiative also reflects the spirit of solidarity and giving rooted in the UAE society, and embodies the cohesion between the various segments of society to support the most needy groups, in line with the goals of the “Year of the Family” which confirms that society stands as one family alongside orphans and works to provide them with sustainable care and support.

The “Umm Al Emarat Endowment for Orphans” campaign aims to transform community contributions into sustainable endowment assets that are invested with long-term returns to support the needs of orphans in the areas of education, health care and decent living, thus enhancing their quality of life and contributing to building a balanced and cohesive society.
