Humaid bin Rashid directs the disbursement of 5 million dirhams as a reward to fishermen in Ajman

Ajman, 9 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman, directed the disbursement of a financial donation worth 5 million dirhams to fishermen practicing the fishing profession who are affiliated with the Ajman Fishermen’s Association.

The generosity of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman comes within the framework of His Highness’s encouragement of citizens to practice the profession, and his continuous support for fishermen, identifying their needs, and removing the obstacles they face, in order to provide a decent life for them and their families.

His Excellency Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Ghamlasi, Head of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Fishermen’s Association, appreciated this generous gesture, which confirms His Highness’s interest in improving and advancing the fishing profession, and providing all capabilities to its practitioners.

He expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, for their continued support for fishermen, to continue the profession of their fathers and grandfathers.

His Excellency Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Ghamlasi pointed out that this initiative reflects the best forms of communication between the wise leadership and its people, and its keenness to meet their needs and improve the quality of their lives, stressing the association’s commitment to working to advance this authentic profession by adopting best practices, in a way that enhances the sustainability of fish wealth in the emirate.
