Extinguishing the fire in fuel tanks at Salalah Port may take some time

The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority in the Sultanate of Oman said that it responded to a fire in fuel tanks in the port of Salalah, stressing that it may take some time to extinguish the fire.
She added in a blog post on her account on the “X” platform: “The firefighting teams have begun operations with the support of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and companies operating in the region. The Authority is making every effort to contain the fire, which may require some time to ensure that all security and safety measures are achieved in such cases.”
