We serve ourselves first and then every recent incident

Shabab Al-Ahly international striker, Sultan Adel, confirmed that his team is required to focus on its results in the remaining rounds of the professional football league if it wants to continue competing for the title, stressing that the path begins with achieving victories without paying attention to competitors’ accounts.

Adel said in press statements following Shabab Al-Ahly’s 5-1 victory over Ittihad Kalba in the 19th round, yesterday, in response to a question about the team’s chances in the title race: “We take each match separately. We have to serve ourselves first and then every recent incident.”

He added: “After drawing in the last two matches against Al-Wasl and Al-Wahda, we pledged ourselves to come back stronger and provide a distinguished level, and I believe that we were up to the responsibility.”

Shabab Al-Ahly presented a strong attacking display at Rashid Stadium, achieving a major victory over Ittihad Kalba with a score of 5-1, in the presence of 823 spectators, so that “Dubai Knights” regained the lead temporarily with 46 points, two points ahead of Al Ain, which faces Al Wasl this evening, while Ittihad Kalba’s balance froze at 20 points in ninth place.

The goals of the match were scored by Mohammed Jumaa Al-Mansouri (36), Kun Santos Silva (46), and Youri Cesar Santos (55 and 58), before substitute Sardar Azmoun added the fifth goal (77), while Rene Al-Azanis scored Kalba’s only goal in the 79th minute.
