"Elite horses" Competing for 3 championship titles at Abu Dhabi track

Abu Dhabi, March 13 / WAM / Abu Dhabi Racing Club Racecourse will host tomorrow the 14th race of the season, for purebred Arabian and hybrid horses, consisting of 7 rounds, with a total prize pool of 1,488,000 dirhams.
The evening includes 3 competition tournaments between elite horses in the “Emirates Classic” races for fillies and colts, and the Emirates Championship for Purebred Arabian Horses for the first category.
The fourth round is held for a distance of 2200 meters for purebred Arabian horses aged 5 years and above, for the title of the UAE Championship for the first category, and its prizes are one million dirhams.
The horses compete in the “Emirates Classic” race for 4-year-old “local production” fillies, in the second half, over a distance of 1,600 metres, with prizes of 110,000 dirhams.
The “Emirates Classic” race for local production colts aged 4 years will be held in the third round for a distance of 1,600 meters, and its prizes are also 110 thousand dirhams.
Horses aged 4 years and above participate in the first half, a distance of 1,400 meters, for the purebred Arabian horses “Takafu” to compete for the title of “Protectors of the Nation” Cup, with prizes of 66,000 dirhams.
The fifth half was allocated for a distance of 1,200 meters for horses aged 4 years and above, for the title of “Al Wathba Stallions Cup” for the owners of private stables, and its prizes are 70,000 dirhams.
The sixth round, for a distance of 1,200 metres, will witness the participation of purebred crossbred horses aged 3 years and above for the “Reliance Spirit” speed title, with prizes of 66,000 dirhams, while the evening will conclude with the seventh round, for a distance of 1,600 metres, for crossbred horses aged 3 years and above for the title of “Union Power Mile”, with prizes of 66,000 dirhams.
