The President and the Prime Minister of India discuss by telephone developments in the situation in the region
Abu Dhabi, 17 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, during a phone call he received from Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, discussed developments in the situation in the region following the escalating military actions and their serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability.
During the call, the Prime Minister renewed his condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and the countries of the region, and his solidarity with the UAE regarding all the measures it takes to preserve its security and sovereignty and ensure the safety of its citizens.
The two sides stressed the need to immediately stop the escalation and give priority to serious dialogue and diplomatic means to address the region’s issues in order to avoid further crises and to preserve regional and international peace and security.
