Today, the Crescent Observatory in Tamir Governorate is preparing to receive observers for Scanning the crescent of the month of Shawwal, marking the advent of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, amid integrated equipment and field preparation that support the accuracy of monitoring and ease of access to the site.
This comes after the inauguration of the observatory in its new look by His Highness the Mayor of the Riyadh Region during the last month of Shaban, as part of the efforts of the Riyadh Region Municipality in developing crescent-spotting sites and raising their readiness, which contributes to strengthening field work and providing a suitable environment for sightseers.
