Iran announces the killing of the Revolutionary Guard spokesman in an Israeli raid

Official Iranian media reported today that the spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Major General Ali Mohammad Naeini, was killed in Israeli strikes.

The Iranian Broadcasting Corporation (IRIB) reported that Naeini was killed today, according to official reports.

Tasnim News Agency also reported that Naeini, who had served as spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard since 2024, was “killed.”

For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that Israel was the one that carried out the assassination of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard spokesman.
