South Korea chooses the country’s first female prime minister in 20 years

The South Korean presidency said on Sunday that President Lee Jae-myung has chosen Minister of Small, Medium and Emerging Enterprises Han Seung-suk to serve as prime minister.

Han will become the first woman to hold the position in South Korea in 20 years.
