Abu Dhabi Police urges drivers to follow safety instructions during rain and volatile conditions

Abu Dhabi Police appealed to drivers to monitor the weather conditions before moving their vehicle, reduce speeds on the roads, leave a sufficient safety distance between vehicles, adhere to safe driving and safety measures on internal and external roads during rainfall and expected weather fluctuations in the coming days, not approach places of flowing valleys and pools of water, and follow the guidelines and instructions of the competent authorities in order to preserve the safety of everyone.

She stressed the danger of a driver taking photographs or being busy off-road, stressing the necessity of adhering to the speed limit indicated on the signs and electronic road signs.

The Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate explained that adherence to traffic instructions contributes to reducing traffic accidents and enhances the safety of everyone on the roads, especially in weather conditions that may lead to reduced visibility and increased possibility of slipping.
