Public parking is free on the occasion of the Hijri New Year

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced that all public parking will be free on the occasion of the Hijri New Year holiday 1448 AH, corresponding to Monday, June 15, 2026, with the exception of multi-storey parking, provided that the application of the tariff will resume as of Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

It also revealed the working hours of all its services during the Hijri New Year holiday 1448. They include customer happiness centres, toll-paid vehicle parks, public transport buses, the Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport means, and service provider centers (technical vehicle inspection).

Customer happiness centers
All Customer Happiness Centers affiliated with the Roads and Transport Authority will be closed on the Hijri New Year holiday 1448, corresponding to Monday, June 15, 2026, while the Customer Happiness Center in Umm Ramool, the smart areas in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, Al Kifaf, and the Authority’s main building will operate as usual around the clock.

Service Providers Centers (Technical Inspection)
Please note that service provider centers will be closed on the Hijri New Year holiday 1448, corresponding to Monday, June 15, 2026, and official work will resume on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Dubai Metro (with its red and green lines):
Monday 15 June
5:00 am – 12:00 midnight
Dubai Tram:
Monday 15 June
6:00 AM – 1:00 AM the next day

Note: Bus route No. E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi will not operate from Saturday, June 13 to Monday, June 15, 2026. Therefore, please use bus route No. E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi.
