Qatar allows social events to be held in open spaces starting today

The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced that, as part of its concern for public safety, and based on the continuous assessment of the situation by the competent authorities, it is possible to hold social events, including wedding parties and funeral gatherings, in open spaces, starting today, according to what the Qatar News Agency reported.

The agency added that the Ministry of Interior stressed, in a statement published on “X”, the necessity of adhering to the approved regulatory instructions and procedures, and coordinating with the competent authorities, to ensure the safety of attendees and the holding of these events in a safe and organized atmosphere.
