Moroccan “Allawi” champion of the Arabic version of “Emirates Warriors”

Moroccan Xavier Allawi retained the bantamweight title in the 68th Arab edition of the “Emirates Warriors” mixed martial arts championship series, after his victory the day before yesterday over Palestinian Rani Saada, in the fight that was held in the Al Khabisi Hall in the Al Ain Convention Center (ADNEC).

“Allawi” decided the confrontation in his favor by submission in the second round, to confirm his superiority and continue his dominance of the title, after he had previously won it three times during his participation in the tournament organized by Palms Sports Company.

The winning champion was crowned by the CEO of Palms Sports Company and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Fouad Darwish.

In the joint main fight, Moroccan Badr Atef achieved victory over Egyptian Maysara Mohamed by a referee’s decision in the 59 kg weight category, in an equal confrontation, while Iraqi Ahmed Al-Rubaie defeated Tunisian Salah Trabelsi by a referee’s decision in the heavyweight category.

Allawi expressed his happiness at maintaining the title, through the victory achieved in the city of Al Ain, which provided a distinctive atmosphere inside and outside the hall.

Champion Allawi added after the coronation that he came to the Emirates last week via Dubai, which is considered one of the best sports destinations in the world, and is considered an oasis of security and stability and enjoys an advanced infrastructure, noting that he found in Al Ain, which hosted the fight, what inspires him to achieve achievements.

For his part, Fouad Darwish confirmed that the “Emirates Warriors” championship won the challenge in the city of Al Ain, and achieved distinguished success despite the rainy weather, thanks to the professional organization and large public attendance that reflected the public’s passion for martial arts sports.

He explained that the continued holding of the event with this momentum confirms Abu Dhabi’s status as a global capital of martial arts, and its ability to host and organize major tournaments in various circumstances.
