The elite of the tribes are crowned with symbols of the tribesmen in "My final conclusion"
DUBAI, 30th March, 2020 (WAM) – Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Camel Racing Club, today witnessed the competitions of the Sun of Thanya symbols for the tribesmen within the closing festival of Al Marmoom 2026, which included 16 evening races for a distance of 8 kilometers, in which the elite of the thoroughbreds participated in a demonstration that included 1,184 mounts throughout the day.
Al Haboob extended its absolute control over the first symbols of the evening, gifting the Al Thanaya Al Abkar Open Cup and the 1.5 million dirham prize to its owner, Nayel Rashid Saif Al Naili Al Shamsi, after covering the race distance in a time of 12:04:5 minutes.
“Mayas” imposed his word in the open creased rifle round and the prize of 1.5 million dirhams, granting the title to Mansour Saad bin Qadlah Al-Ahbabi with a time of 12:11:9 minutes.
At the level of the Local Al-Thanaya Al-Abkar Cup and the Million Dirham Prize, “Al-Ahwar” showed up strongly to add gold to Nasser Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al-Misnad’s record, achieving the lead in the half with a time of 12:09:3 minutes.
“Lazim” snatched the Al-Jadan Al-Mahaliyat rifle and the prize of 800,000 dirhams, dedicating the victory to Muhammad Suhail Al-Yabhouni Al-Dhaheri, recording 12:06:8 minutes.
Nasser Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al-Misnad’s logo came back to shine again in the production rounds, where “Gasoline” won the Al-Thanaya Al-Abkar Production Cup and the 1.5 million dirham prize, achieving a time of 12:04:8 minutes.
“Mabaad” concluded the hexagram of the Thanaya symbols by winning the Al Thanaya Al Jaadan Production rifle and the million dirham prize, presenting its owner, Maktoum Saeed Manana Ghadeer Al Ketbi, with the precious symbol, with a time of 12:10:7 minutes.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Hamdan bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored those crowned with symbols of the tooth of the tribes for the tribesmen, and the heroes received cups and rifles amid an atmosphere of pride and pride in this great heritage achievement.
The coronation ceremony took place in the presence of Ali Saeed bin Suroud, Executive Director of the Dubai Camel Racing Club, and Abdullah Ahmed Faraj, Director of the Club’s Media, Marketing, Events and Partner Relations Department.

“Thameen” won the fourth round for Al-Tanaya Al-Jadaan Al-Mahjanat Production, adding the victory to the record of its owner Abdullah Joaan Abdullah Al-Muhairi, recording a time of 12:28:5 minutes.
“Khuf” recorded the best time in all the challenges of the morning period for the tanayas, after Shaar Ahmed Matar Majid Tarish Al-Khaili led him to the top of the eighth half designated for the Al-Jadaan Al-Mahjanat productions, achieving a time of 12:22:5 minutes.
On a related note, the 13th Al-Marmoum Auction “C” for the personal production of weanlings attracted widespread interest from major owners and contractors, who flocked yesterday evening to the Heritage Village Theater in Al-Marmoum.
The first evening of the auction, which was held within the activities of the closing festival of Marmoum 2026, witnessed the display of 70 camels amid an active purchasing movement and strong competition for ancient breeds, in a demonstration that reflects the heritage and economic value of the sport of purebred Arabian camels.
A reel from the lineage of the father “Al-Dinglawi – Al-Asifa” and the mother “Sheikha” recorded a special price on the first evening of the auction, after its ownership was transferred to Mohammed Hamad Saeed Al-Hashimi for 550 thousand dirhams.
Mohammed Hamad Saeed Al Hashemi returned to strengthen his purchases at the auction by extracting the property of Qoud, which belongs to the lineage of the father, “the engineer – Ba’ir Hamad Rashid bin Ghadeer,” and the mother, “Al-Shahiniya,” at a price of 130 thousand dirhams.
Mansour bin Hindi Al Muhairi chose a heifer from the lineage of the father, “The Gallant – the camel of Muhammad Sultan bin Markhan,” and from the mother, “Hamloula,” for 120,000 dirhams, amid an active purchasing movement witnessed by the rest of the horses displayed at the opening evening, which reflected the quality of personal production.
