We will leave Iran quickly and return if necessary

US President Donald Trump told Reuters in an interview on Wednesday that the United States will withdraw from Iran “very quickly” and may return to launch “specific strikes” if necessary.

Trump added in the interview, hours before a speech he was scheduled to deliver to the nation, that he would mention in his speech that he was considering the withdrawal of the United States from NATO.

He said: “I will express my ‘disgust’ with NATO in my speech and ‘certainly consider’ America’s withdrawal from the alliance.”

The US President continued: “We have witnessed a complete regime change” in Iran. It will not possess a nuclear weapon, nor does it want to possess one.

He added: “I do not care about nuclear materials, and we will monitor them via satellite.”
