“Tadra”: 15.3 million dirhams in total fines for unwanted marketing calls during 2025

The Communications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, “TADRA”, revealed that the total fines imposed on unwanted marketing calls during the year 2025 amounted to 15.3 million dirhams.

The authority explained that these fines came as part of its ongoing monitoring campaigns to combat annoying marketing messages and calls, stressing the importance of adhering to the laws and regulations related to privacy and electronic marketing, which aim to enhance the user experience and protect their data.
