Israel approves the acceleration of production of “Arrow” interceptor missiles

A “Ministerial Committee for Equipment” approved the plan of the Israeli Ministry of Security to significantly accelerate the production of “Haetz/Arrow” interceptor missiles on a large scale by the aerospace industry.

According to what was reported by the Israeli “i24” channel website, Israeli Security Minister Yisrael Katz and the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Reserve Amir Baram, pushed forward the deal that will be signed soon and will allow a significant increase in the pace of production of the “Arrow” system manufactured by Aerospace Industries, as part of the preparation for the development of the battle.

According to the Israeli channel, the Arrow system, which is developed and manufactured in cooperation with the US Missile Defense Agency (MDA), intercepts ballistic threats outside the atmosphere and at the edge of the atmosphere, and protects the State of Israel from long-range strategic threats.

The system intercepted a large number of ballistic missiles launched from Iran and Yemen, according to a statement by the Ministry of Defense.
