Cooperation between the University of Fujairah and the Federal Judiciary to enhance legal qualification and field training

The University of Fujairah and the Federal Judicial Council, represented by the Fujairah Federal Court of First Instance, signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between the academic and judicial sectors, and developing the fields of training, legal qualification, and applied scientific research, in line with the state’s directions in empowering national competencies.

The agreement was signed at the university headquarters by the President of the University of Fujairah, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Jassim, and the President of the Fujairah Federal Court of First Instance, Counselor Saeed Abdullah bin Amer Al-Nuaimi.

This agreement comes within the framework of the two parties’ keenness to extend bridges of cooperation to exchange legal and practical experiences, and to provide specialized training opportunities for university students in judicial institutions, in addition to developing academic programs to be compatible with the accelerating requirements of the legal labor market, and in a way that contributes to raising the quality of educational outcomes.

Dr. Sulaiman Al-Jassim stressed that the agreement represents a strategic step towards integrating the roles between educational institutions and government agencies, noting that the university seeks, through these partnerships, to provide students with practical skills that qualify them to engage effectively in the justice system, and to support the sustainable development process witnessed by the country.

For his part, Counselor Saeed Abdullah bin Amer Al Nuaimi pointed out the importance of cooperation with leading academic institutions such as the University of Fujairah in preparing a generation of capable jurists, stressing that the Federal Judicial Council pays great attention to supporting such initiatives.
