Trump agrees to suspend the bombing of Iran for two weeks on the condition that the Strait of Hormuz is opened

US President Donald Trump announced that, based on his conversations with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistani Army Commander Field Marshal Asim Munir, he agreed to suspend the bombing and attack on Iran for two weeks, on the condition that Iran agrees to the complete, immediate and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump added, “There will be a ceasefire on both sides for two weeks,” and continued, “We received a 10-point proposal from Iran, and we believe it is a viable basis for negotiation.”
