Fires break out in oil facilities and power plants after an Iranian attack

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced, on Wednesday, that serious material damage had occurred in a number of vital facilities affiliated with the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and the Ministry of Energy after an Iranian attack with drones.
The ministry stated, in a post on the “X” platform: “Since dawn on Wednesday, a number of vital facilities belonging to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy have been subjected to an intense series of sinful Iranian targeting and attacks, using hostile drones.”
She explained that “the attacks targeted a number of sites, including oil facilities and three electrical power and water distillation stations, resulting in severe material damage to infrastructure facilities, generation units, distilleries, and fuel tanks, in addition to the outbreak of a number of fires in some sites.”
