The Italian University of Cattolica hosts the signing of two books by Dr. Jamal Sanad Al-Suwaidi
Rome, 8 April / WAM / Today, the Italian University Cattolica witnessed a signing ceremony for the books “His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan… Illuminations in the Journey of a Man of Humanity” and “The Document on Human Fraternity Towards a Peaceful Coexistence and a World Free of Conflicts”, written by His Excellency Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al Sabousi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Rome, along with an elite group of… Academics, researchers and university professors.
The event came within the framework of the cultural and cognitive movement that strengthens bridges of cultural communication between the United Arab Emirates and international academic institutions, as the two books received a wide response from the attendees, who expressed a remarkable interest in their intellectual contents, and were keen to obtain copies signed by the author.
In his speech during the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Jamal Sanad Al-Suwaidi expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the administration of Cattolica University and the organizers of the event for the good organization and generous reception, praising the cognitive role that the university plays in consolidating human thought and promoting civilizational dialogue.
His Excellency stressed that the book “His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan… Illuminations in the Journey of a Man of Humanity” represents the summary of a profound intellectual and research experience, launched from a pure national motive aimed at introducing new generations to the career of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and his pivotal role in achieving the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the United Arab Emirates, describing it as the most important in his intellectual and research career, and one of the most prominent contributions to contemporary humanitarian literature.
Al Suwaidi explained that the book documents the path of the national work of His Highness the President of the State, from his beginnings in the armed forces, to his leadership of the comprehensive development process, highlighting the system of human values adopted by His Highness, which contributed to consolidating the position of the United Arab Emirates as a global capital of tolerance and coexistence.
His Excellency pointed out that the book “The Document on Human Fraternity Towards Peaceful Coexistence and a World Free of Conflicts” provides an intellectual foundation for the concept of peaceful coexistence in Islam, and reviews the pioneering Emirati experience in consolidating the values of tolerance and rapprochement between peoples and religions, stressing that the book addresses the exceptional efforts made by the United Arab Emirates in supporting peace, stability and development at the regional and international levels.
He added that the book presents an integrated strategic vision that includes practical mechanisms to activate the provisions of the Document on Human Fraternity, based on a firm belief that tolerance represents the optimal civilizational path to confront religious, ethnic and sectarian conflicts, and limit the recurrence of historical tragedies that have claimed the lives of millions of people.
