Erdogan warns of possible provocations and sabotage that threaten the truce between Washington and Tehran

Caution Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan from possible provocations and acts of sabotage, after Ceasefire two weeks between Iran and the United States.
Erdogan said on the X platform: "We welcome the ceasefire in the war that has ignited our region since February 28. We hope that the ceasefire will be fully implemented on the ground without giving way to possible provocations or acts of sabotage."
A permanent peace agreement
In a phone call with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, Erdogan called for reaching a permanent peace agreement with Iran, according to a statement by the Turkish presidency.
The statement indicated that Erdogan told Trump "This two-week opportunity, which has opened after 40 days of intense tension and suffering to the entire world, must be used to reach a lasting peace agreement."

Turkish diplomatic efforts
Despite its strong criticism of the Israeli occupation entity, Turkey has joined diplomatic efforts with Egypt and Pakistan to reach a ceasefire in the conflict.
Turkey sent 3 trucks loaded with medical aid to Iran, according to what Turkish Health Minister Kemal Mamishoglu announced.
The minister said on the platform X "Our trucks loaded with medical supplies and equipment set off toward Iran"stressing that Ankara wants "Healing the wounds of the oppressed".
