Abu Dhabi Police provides traffic point reduction services at Al Maqta Museum

Abu Dhabi Police provides Traffic Points Program services through a field platform at Al Maqta Museum Majlis, during the period from April 7 to 9, 2026, daily from 04:00 pm to 09:00 pm, as part of its initiatives aimed at facilitating the public’s access to traffic services and enhancing the quality of life in the community.

She called on drivers to take advantage of these services, which aim to enable them to settle their traffic situations and raise the level of compliance with traffic laws, thus contributing to enhancing the safety of road users.

Brigadier Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi, Director of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate, confirmed that the platform provides a driving license retrieval service for vehicle drivers whose total traffic points have reached the cumulative limit (24 points), through registering, paying the prescribed fees (2,400 dirhams), and attending a rehabilitation course for traffic law violators.

He explained that the platform also provides the service of reducing traffic points by (8 points) for drivers whose points range between (8 and 23 points), after completing the registration procedures, paying the fees (800 dirhams) and attending the qualifying course, after which the points will be deducted from the traffic record.

Lieutenant Colonel Nahyan Mohammed Al Muhairi, Head of the Traffic Points Program Department, pointed out that providing services in vital community locations comes within Abu Dhabi Police’s efforts to strengthen community partnership, and provide proactive and innovative services that contribute to spreading traffic culture and motivating drivers to adhere to the laws, in support of the strategic priority “smart road security.”
