He pointed out that they represent the beating heart of any civilizational project in that they contribute to shaping values and identity and promoting coexistence in a rapidly transforming world. It also complements the role of applied sciences by giving development its values and human dimension, and providing a compass of meaning and balance for humans.
He explained that Al Qasimia University adopts this approach through its academic programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which are based on an integrated scientific vision that combines authenticity and modernity, and attracts students from various countries of the world within an educational environment that enhances the values of moderation, openness and cultural understanding.
He added that the conference represents a global scientific platform for knowledge dialogue, and reflects the university’s commitment to developing scientific research in the fields of humanities and employing its outputs to serve society, pointing out that it aims to highlight the societal impact of forensic sciences, enhance the role of the Arabic language, consolidate human values and coexistence, and review the contributions of humanities studies in supporting sustainable development.
For his part, His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Haddad, Chief Mufti and Director of the Fatwa Department at the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai and member of the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa, stressed that Sharia sciences represent the basic pillar of the righteousness of the individual and the uprightness of society, as they are concerned with building religious awareness based on the correct understanding of texts, and consolidating the moral values that control human behavior, stressing that spreading and teaching this science is a shared responsibility that contributes to achieving balance and stability and strengthening the resilience of societies.
