Hend Sabry and Rami Imam… and a new project with a different character

The Tunisian star, Hend Sabry, is one of the few names that is betting on awareness before spreading, and this trend has become clear in her latest professional moves, where she is not only preparing for various cinematic works, but is embarking on a completely new experience through the world of podcasts, in a step that reflects her desire to redefine her relationship with the audience, and expand her expressive tools outside the traditional screen.

Away from the camera and filming locations, and inside the studio, Hend Sabry is embarking on a new experience of its kind, through her participation in the “You..and You” podcast, in cooperation with director Rami Imam, son of the “leader” Adel Imam.

Sabri appears, for the first time since the beginning of her career, in the role of interviewer, or program presenter, in content based on deep dialogue and human experiences. The podcast, produced by Think Big Production, does not seek to present traditional dialogues, but rather focuses on mixing learning and personal narration, which is in line with the nature of Hend Sabry, who tends toward works with a human dimension.

Director Rami Imam announced the program on his page and the producing company’s page on Instagram, and stated that the podcast will adopt a dialogue that opens the door to a series of meetings that combine thought and experience, in an attempt to provide content different from what is prevalent in the world of Arab podcasting.

“I do not repeat myself”:

When Hend Sabry talks about her artistic choices, she sets a clear standard that she does not deviate from: “I am looking for a project that carries a clear vision… What matters to me is to feel that I am adding a new step in my career, and not to repeat myself.” This sentence sums up her artistic philosophy, which she has maintained for years, and has made her one of the most capable Arab stars in moving between dramatic styles, without falling into the trap of stereotypes.

Hend Sabry, who is preparing to announce the film “The Weakest of His Creatures,” whose filming has almost finished, alongside the star Ahmed Helmy, is a work that seems different in nature, and is expected to carry a special character, combining depth and the human dimension. At the same time, she is working on the film “Hamlet” with director Ahmed Fawzi Saleh, in a cinematic experience that is expected to be more daring in terms of treatment and style.

A break between the noise of the lights… southern Egypt as a quiet haven:

Before the podcast announcement came out, away from the pressure of filming and the spotlight of fame, Hend Sabry chose to give herself a moment of rest, through a trip to southern Egypt, where she visited prominent archaeological landmarks, such as: the Temple of Abu Simbel and the Temple of Philae.

This trip, the details of which she shared with her fans on social media, was not just a tourist visit, but rather seemed like a space for contemplation and recharging, after an intense dramatic season, and the pictures she published reflected a state of harmony with nature, and the search for calm, away from the hustle and bustle of artistic life.

In parallel with her professional success, Hend Sabry does not hide her pride in her role as a mother, which was clearly evident in her touching message to her daughter on the occasion of her birthday, where she expressed her pride in her and described her as “the wisest person you know.” This human side adds another dimension to her personality, and makes her closer to the audience, not only as an artist; Rather, as a person who lives the same daily challenges, and tries to balance her personal and professional life.
