“The Gallant Knight 3”…an aid plane arrives in Al-Arish carrying 100 tons to support the people of Gaza within the “Hamid Air Bridge”
Al-Arish, April 10, 2017 (WAM) – The United Arab Emirates continues its humanitarian efforts to support the brothers in the Gaza Strip, with the arrival of a new aid plane to the city of Al-Arish, carrying 100 tons of urgent relief aid, within the “Hamid Air Bridge” as part of its continued support to alleviate the human suffering faced by the residents of the Strip.
The shipment included quantities of basic food supplies, which contributes to meeting the necessary needs of affected families in light of the current humanitarian conditions.
The UAE humanitarian aid team in Al-Arish received the aid shipment upon its arrival, where it was transported and stored in the UAE humanitarian aid logistics center in Al-Arish, in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip according to established mechanisms, ensuring its rapid arrival to the beneficiaries.
The continuation of the “Hamid Air Bridge” reflects the UAE’s firm commitment to continuing to provide urgent relief support to our Palestinian brothers, and to strengthen the humanitarian response in the face of the challenges and difficult conditions that the sector is witnessing.
Operation “Gallant Knight 3” has continued its humanitarian efforts since its launch, through various support routes by air, land and sea, to provide food, relief and medical aid to the brothers in the Gaza Strip, in an embodiment of the UAE’s established humanitarian approach in extending a helping hand and supporting brotherly peoples in times of crisis.
