المملكة: "Meteorology" A red alert is issued for the Riyadh region: heavy rain and lightning strikes on Saturday

Release Today, the National Center of Meteorology issued a red alert regarding the condition of Weather is expected, God willing, for parts of the Riyadh region for tomorrow, Saturday, warning of heavy rain and the accompanying severe weather effects.

According to the report issued by the center, the weather condition includes (Thadiq, Huraymala, Remah, Shaqra, Darma, Marrat, Al-Saleel, Al-Aflaj, and Wadi Al-Dawasir), which is expected to begin at 08:00 in the morning and continue until 20:00 in the evening on Saturday, April 11, 2026 AD.

The center explained that this weather condition will be accompanied, God willing, by several phenomena, including:
High-speed winds.
Lack of horizontal visibility.
Hailfall.
Flood flow.
Thunderbolts.

The concerned authorities called on everyone to be careful. Take cautionand be careful, adhere to civil defense instructions, and stay away from valley bottoms, flood streams, and water pools to ensure their safety during the warning period.
