Ministry of Sports and"Marine Sports Federation" They review development trends
Sharjah, April 11 / WAM / The Emirates Marine Sports Federation reviewed the strategic directions for the period from 2026 to 2028, developing the technical and administrative system, raising the efficiency of national cadres, and enhancing the readiness of national teams for international participation.
This came during a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Sports at the House of Wisdom in Sharjah, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum, Assistant Undersecretary for the Sports Development and Competitiveness Sector at the Ministry of Sports, His Excellency Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Vice President of the Federation, Khalid Khamis bin Dasmal, Secretary-General of the Federation, and Abdul Aziz Al-Hussan, Advisor for the Sports Competitiveness Sector at the Ministry of Sports.
The Federation confirmed in a statement that holding the meeting comes within the framework of its vision to enhance institutional integration with sports authorities in the country, and keep pace with national trends in developing the sports sector, under the guidance and follow-up of Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President of the Federation.
The meeting discussed coordination with the Ministry of Sports on the work axes related to the directions of the Olympic Games, and mechanisms for preparing qualitative development programs aimed at discovering and refining national talent, which contributes to building a strong competitive base that enhances the UAE’s presence in the upcoming Olympic Games.
The attendees stressed the importance of unifying efforts among the concerned authorities and activating strategic partnerships, in a way that enhances the efficiency of implementation and ensures achieving the goals of the next stage, in line with the country’s vision of consolidating its sporting position at the regional and international levels.
