518 riders conclude the endurance season at Boudheib Global Village

Abu Dhabi, April 11, 2017 – The endurance season activities were concluded at the Boudheib International Endurance Village in Al Khatm area, with the organization of 5 qualifying races over the course of Friday and Saturday, under the supervision of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, with the participation of 518 male and female riders from various equestrian clubs and stables.

Three international qualifying races were held yesterday, Friday, and included a race of 100 km (one star), 120 km (two stars), and 160 km (three stars), while the events continued today with the holding of two qualifying races at the end of the events for distances of 80 km and 40 km.

The 160 km (three-star) international qualifying race, with 5 stages, witnessed the participation of 19 male and female riders, while the 120 km (two-star) race, with 4 stages, participated in, with 21 male and female riders, and the 100 km (one-star) race, with 4 stages, witnessed the participation of 95 male and female riders.

Today’s activities included an 80 km race, in 3 stages, and witnessed the participation of 183 male and female horsemen, while the number of participants increased to 200 male and female horsemen in a 40 km race of one stage.
