Al-Rabiah explained, through his official account on the “X” platform, published by Saudi websites on Sunday, that the Holy Kaaba receives continuous care and attention from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in an extension of the Kingdom’s consistent approach to serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.

In the same context, he pointed out that “the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque carries out maintenance work using the latest technologies and advanced standards, ensuring the preservation of the safety and sustainability of the components of the Holy Kaaba, within an integrated system of services provided to the guests of God.”

Al-Rabiah concluded his statement by sending a welcome message to the guests of God, saying: “May God bless you in Mecca,” in confirmation of the readiness of services and the continued care of those visiting the Sacred House of God.

For his part, the head of religious affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, affirmed that “the regular maintenance of the Holy Kaaba represents a great manifestation of glorifying the Ancient House, honoring the rituals of God, and fulfilling its rights in a way that befits its status and sanctity in the hearts of Muslims.”

According to the authority, the dress of the Holy Kaaba is inspected daily, and periodic maintenance work is carried out by a specialized Saudi work team, some of whose experience reaches 29 years.

The authority indicated that “the team examines all parts of the cladding and the rings that attach it, and immediately corrects any observations if they are detected, according to an approved daily plan, and in accordance with the highest standards of accuracy and quality in performance and completion within record time.”

The Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques also works periodically to tighten and weigh the garment of the Holy Kaaba and fix it at the ends, in addition to carrying out the work of cleaning the kiswa from all sides, as well as changing the kinars of the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner, in order to preserve its splendor and appear in its best form.
