US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday evening that the Israeli and Lebanese leaders will speak on Thursday, the day after the first direct negotiations between the two sides.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, “We are trying to find a period of rest between Israel and Lebanon.” It has been a long time since the last conversation between two leaders (Israeli and Lebanese), nearly 34 years. “It will happen tomorrow,” but he did not provide any additional details nor did he indicate who he meant.
