The management of the Alexandria Short Film Festival had previously revealed the official poster for the twelfth session, which was topped by the famous Alexandria tram, which is one of the most prominent symbols of the coastal city. The design, created by Cyril Maximus, was an artistic vision that blends reality with imagination, drawing inspiration from the long history of the tram, which formed an integral part of the city’s memory and its daily rhythm, despite its declining presence in the current scene.

The “Festival” receives great media, critical and public attention, given the artistic value presented by the selected films, and its previous 11 sessions have witnessed great success, since its launch by the “Alexandria Art Circle Association”, as it is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, the Tourism Promotion Authority, “Red Star”, and the Alexandria Governorate. The Supreme Advisory Board of the “Alexandria Short Film Festival” includes: director Yousry Nasrallah, and producer Safi El-Din Mahmoud. Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, interior designer Onsi Abu Saif, artist Sabri Fawaz, critic Ola Al-Shafi’i, producer Ahmed Fahmy, and artist Hana Shiha.
