The President of the State meets Hamad Al Sharqi and makes an inspection tour of the Fujairah Port

Fujairah, April 17 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, met today with his brother, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah.

During the meeting, their Highnesses discussed a number of issues and topics related to the affairs of the nation and the citizen in light of the comprehensive development process that the state continues to achieve… stressing that the aspirations of the citizen always remain at the core of the leadership’s concern and the focus of development plans, initiatives and national projects in all parts of the nation, present and future.

Their Highnesses also praised the system of authentic values ​​that characterize the UAE society, which enhances its cohesion, cohesion and ability to face challenges. They expressed their wishes for the UAE to continue its glory and progress, calling on God Almighty to preserve its security, stability and prosperity.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, also made an inspection tour of the Fujairah Port, during which they were briefed on the progress of work in its facilities and the procedures followed to ensure business continuity with the highest levels of operational efficiency.

Their Highnesses stressed that the Port of Fujairah is one of the main vital facilities in the country and plays an important role in supporting the national economy and the global energy market and contributes to strengthening the country’s position in global trade.

Their Highnesses were accompanied during the tour by: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Dhiyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President, and a number of ministers and officials.
