Abu Dhabi Chamber and"Federal Youth Union" They sign an agreement to empower youth in the business sector

ABU DHABI, 22nd April / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of understanding with the Federal Youth Authority, with the aim of developing a strategic cooperation framework that contributes to enhancing youth participation in the business sector and supporting their entrepreneurial projects, within the framework of the Chamber’s keenness to support youth empowerment and enhance their role in economic development.

The memorandum was signed, during the activities of the Abu Dhabi Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2026, by His Excellency Ali Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, and His Excellency Khaled Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Foundation.

The agreement aims to lay the foundations for joint cooperation between the two parties to support and empower young people in the economic sector, by providing a stimulating environment that allows them to develop their skills and enhance their participation at the local and international levels, which contributes to building a generation of entrepreneurs capable of leading the future economy.

Areas of cooperation include organizing joint events, conferences, workshops, and forums that contribute to enhancing dialogue and knowledge exchange, in addition to providing practical training opportunities and field experiences that support entrepreneurial projects, in addition to exchanging relevant experiences and research, and exploring opportunities to develop new youth programs and initiatives that support youth entry into future growth sectors.

The agreement also includes working to align the initiatives of the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council of the Chamber with the programs of the Federal Youth Foundation, in a way that enhances the integration of national efforts in empowering youth, and expands the scope of opportunities available to them for effective participation in economic development.

His Excellency Ali Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that this agreement reflects the Chamber’s commitment to supporting youth empowerment and enhancing their role in the business sector, based on its belief that investing in youth energies represents an essential foundation for building a diversified and sustainable economy. He pointed out that the Chamber will work through this partnership to provide an integrated environment that allows young people to develop their skills and turn their ideas into successful projects, which contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as a global center for business and investment.

He added that the Chamber continues its efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with the relevant authorities, in a way that supports the development of the entrepreneurship system in the emirate, and provides qualitative opportunities for young people to engage in vital economic sectors.

For his part, His Excellency Khaled Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Foundation, said that this partnership represents an important step in enhancing the integration of national efforts to empower youth, by providing quality programs and initiatives that support building their capabilities and expanding their participation in various economic sectors, stressing the Foundation’s keenness to work with partners to provide a supportive environment that enables young people to achieve their ambitions and contribute effectively to the country’s economic development process.
