At the level of procedures, violations related to practicing the profession without a license and employing non-accredited persons were referred to the Public Prosecution according to jurisdiction, while work cases after the expiration of accreditation were referred to the competent committee to take the necessary legal measures.
Regulating Professional Practice
The Secretary General of the Saudi Commission explained Musaed bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi said that these tours aim to enhance compliance and regulate professional practice, indicating that professional accreditation is a basic condition for practicing any engineering activity, and that irregular practices are violations that are dealt with according to approved procedures, with objection made available to violators through official channels.
He stated that these efforts contribute to raising the quality of engineering practice, enhancing market reliability, and protecting projects from irregular practices. These efforts come within the regulatory and supervisory role of the Authority, which aims to raise the level of compliance and ensure the practice of engineering professions in accordance with the approved regulatory frameworks.
