“We have all the pressure cards.”

President Donald Trump told a Fox News correspondent at the White House on Saturday that US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will no longer go to Pakistan for talks with Iran.
Trump said that there is no point in the American delegation making an 18-hour flight to Pakistan at a time when the United States holds all the playing cards (pressure cards) in the conflict with Iran. He added that the Iranians can contact the United States anytime they want.
“I just told my team when they were getting ready to leave, and I said, ‘No, you’re not going to take an 18-hour flight to go there. We have all the papers. They can call us any time they want, but you’re not going to take any more 18-hour flights to sit around and talk about nothing,'” Trump said.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has reportedly already left Islamabad, Pakistan, following talks he held there on Saturday with the country’s prime minister.
