Inclusion and financial health foster confidence in financial services and consumer protection

Fayza Al-Awadhi, CEO and Managing Director of the Banking and Insurance Disputes Settlement Unit (SANADIC), emphasized that achieving financial inclusion and financial health is not limited to providing financial services only, but also includes protecting consumer rights, establishing principles of justice, and enhancing confidence in using these services, in a way that supports the financial stability of individuals and society.
Al-Awadhi said, on the occasion of Arab Financial Inclusion Day 2026, which is being held this year under the slogan “Financial Health…the Individuals’ Path to Sustainable and More Stable Financial Inclusion”: “We at (SENDEC) renew our commitment to working with our partners in the financial sector to strengthen an integrated system based on empowerment, protection and justice, and contribute to enhancing the financial health of individuals, thus consolidating the UAE’s position as a leading model in the Arab world, and as an independent and impartial body, we are keen to implement The highest standards of integrity and transparency in settling banking and insurance disputes, ensuring justice between all parties and enhancing the sustainability of the financial system.”
She pointed out that “Sanadak” works to provide fair and effective solutions to settle disputes, accelerate the handling of complaints with high efficiency, and facilitate access to services for all segments of society, including those with less access, while employing digital solutions to simplify procedures and improve the customer experience.
She stressed that the role of “SANADIC” extends to being a fundamental pillar in achieving sustainable financial inclusion and financial health, in line with the state’s vision of a global competitive financial sector and an informed and empowered financial society.
