Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts organizes a concert
Fujairah, April 26 / WAM / The Fujairah Fine Arts Academy organized the “Al-Farabi Night” concert, on the stage of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the participation of students from the Law Department, led by Alaa Al-Abdullah, and the presence of a number of those interested in arts and music.
Ali Obaid Al-Hafiti, Director General of the Academy, said that music is not just sounds, but rather the language of the soul and the bridge of civilizations. He explained that the specialization of the qanun instrument at the Fujairah Academy represents the preservation of an authentic tonal root and the preservation of a musical identity that never dies. He added that this night was a bright station in the path of art in the emirate.
Al-Hafiti thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Trustees, for his continued support for the arts, while thanking Alaa Al-Abdullah and all the musicians and appreciating the attendance of the audience, whom he described as “the spirit of the night.”
The ceremony, which was met with admiration by the audience, concluded with honoring the participating students.
