المملكة: Launching intensive training to prepare 194 talented people to represent the Kingdom in the International Olympics


The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity was launched "Talent"Today in Jeddah, in cooperation with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology "KAUST"An intensive training program to prepare and qualify talented students who will represent the Kingdom in International and regional Scientific Olympiads during the year 2026.

The intensive training aims to complete advanced scientific topics in the vocabulary of various specializations, and provide advanced strategies for solving complex issues in international competitions, in addition to analyzing the issues of previous Olympiads, and raising students’ readiness to compete at the regional and international levels.

The Kingdom participates annually, represented by the Foundation "talent"in about 30 international and regional Olympiads held in different countries around the world, with the participation of more than 120 countries represented by thousands of students, within the Mawhiba International Olympiad Programme, which provides an integrated training path concerned with building the capabilities of students at various levels, which contributes to their advanced scientific and methodological preparation.

International and Regional Competitions

The intensive training targets male and female students nominated to participate in international and regional competitions for the year 2026, in 9 scientific specializations: mathematics, informatics, chemistry, physics, biology, science, astronomy and space, artificial intelligence, and nuclear sciences.

(194) male and female students are receiving the training, distributed over The targeted majors are (42) in mathematics, (37) in informatics, (23) in chemistry, (23) in physics, (23) in biology, (15) in science, (12) in astronomy and space, (12) in artificial intelligence, and (7) in nuclear science.

The training of students in the program, which is implemented in several stages and continues until next May 21, is supervised by (32) trainers. From the elite Saudi and international trainers in various specializations, with (168) training hours for each student, and a total of 32,592 training hours.
