المملكة: The Information Society Summit nominates Saudi projects for its 2026 award
Declared World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) for the year 2026, for the dissection of a number of Saudi projects to win its award this year.
The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority is participating "Sdaya" Nine qualitative projects and initiatives were nominated for the award, the most important of which was a project "Granting an accreditation certificate for artificial intelligence service providers" (Ethics tags Artificial Intelligence), which aims to encourage entities to adopt ethical practices by assessing the extent of compliance with the principles of artificial intelligence, and"National Index of Artificial Intelligence"which measures the level of readiness of government agencies in adopting artificial intelligence technologies and supports achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Bridging the linguistic-technical gap
In the aspect of knowledge empowerment, a project was nominated "Trilingual Data and Artificial Intelligence Dictionary"which aims to bridge the technical linguistic gap by providing a unified reference in Arabic, English and French, and a project "Early detection of breast cancer" Which contributes to supporting the health sector by employing the latest artificial intelligence technologies for early detection, increasing the accuracy of diagnosis, and improving the efficiency of medical procedures.
Posts include a project "Nafath platform for the national digital identity" In partnership with the Ministry of Interior, which provides secure and reliable access to digital services using advanced biotechnology.
In addition to the initiative "Principles of artificial intelligence in media" Which was announced in partnership with the Ministry of Information to be a guiding reference that regulates the use of these technologies in media content in its various forms.
Supporting 90,000 Innovators
The projects include an initiative "Generative Artificial Intelligence Accelerator (Goal)"which represents an ambitious model for supporting innovation, and aims to support 90,000 innovators, create 300 startup companies, and sponsor 600 entrepreneurs in the field of artificial intelligence within 36 months.
In addition to a project "to improve" Which employs artificial intelligence to digitally restore Saudi historical media and raise their quality.
