Under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.. Nahyan bin Mubarak witnesses the graduation ceremony of the sixth batch of students from the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys

ABU DHABI, 11 JUNE / WAM / Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Honorary President of the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy, the Sheikh Zayed Private Academies in Abu Dhabi organized two graduation ceremonies for the twelfth grade students for the academic year 2025-2026.
On June 10, the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls celebrated the graduation of the twenty-third batch of its students, numbering 97 graduates, while the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys celebrated, on June 11, the graduation of the sixth batch of its students, numbering 94 graduates.
The graduation ceremony of students from the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys, which was held at the academy’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, was witnessed by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and a number of officials and parents.
Graduate Abdullah Walid Mohammed Abdullah Al Jasmi delivered a speech by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak on her behalf during the ceremony, which said: I am pleased to share with you today the joy of this dear occasion, and to congratulate you on your graduation from the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys, after years of hard work, diligence and perseverance.
Her Highness added: This graduation comes in the Year of the Family, to confirm that the success and distinction that the people of the nation achieve begins with a family that instilled values, raised people to belong and bear responsibility, and believed that education is the highest path to serving and elevating the nation.
Her Highness affirmed: My dear graduates, the nation places great hopes on you, and expects you to be a role model in your morals, sincere in your work, adherent to your national identity and authentic values, and to always be up to the responsibility in serving your nation and elevating its status.
Her Highness congratulated the graduates on this achievement, and their families who shared their journey of greatness and success, and thanked the educational and administrative bodies of the academy for their sincere efforts in preparing a generation of which we are proud and whose giving we are proud of.
Darren Nicholas, Director of Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys, said in a speech during the students’ graduation ceremony: We are pleased to meet today to celebrate achievements of which we are all proud, and at the same time we realize that every achievement carries within it a greater responsibility.
He added: Dear graduates, you leave the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys not only holding an academic certificate, but also carrying precious honesty and trust. Trust placed in you by your families, your school, and your country, which believes in you and invests in you out of belief in your abilities.
He pointed out that education at the academy was never limited to exams or university admission destinations, but rather was an integrated process of human building, character building, identity consolidation, and leadership preparation.
Addressing the graduates, Nicholas said: Today you are on the cusp of a new phase in the United Arab Emirates, a country that occupies a leading global position in the fields of innovation, sustainability, space exploration, artificial intelligence, and diplomacy. You have before you exceptional and unprecedented opportunities, but they come with high expectations and greater responsibilities. Knowledge is a responsibility, success is a commitment, and leadership is a trust.
On the other hand, Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls witnessed the graduation ceremony of the twenty-third batch of twelfth grade students, in the presence of a number of female officials and the graduates’ families.
Dr. Emma Merva, Director of Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls, gave a speech during the students’ graduation ceremony, in which she said: I am pleased to welcome you to the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2026. Today, we are pleased to celebrate a distinguished generation of young women who have proven, with their patience, generosity, and excellence, their ability to reach an important milestone in their educational and life journey.
She added: Based on the slogan of the United Arab Emirates for this year, the Year of the Family, we focus on a solid truth that stands behind every success story, which is the strength of the family and its pivotal role. At Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls, family is not just a concept, but rather a value that we live every day in a society based on interdependence, belonging, care, and common goal.
Dr. Merva said: We are proud at Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls that we are a diverse family that includes an elite group of promising young women who represent the future of the UAE. Who among you will become a future leader, politician, media figure, developer in the field of artificial intelligence, engineer, researcher, or pioneer in various fields. Your role was not limited to learning within the school only, but you were an integral part of the spirit and strength of this school community.
She stressed that success is not built alone, and that behind every achievement is an integrated system of support that includes family, teachers, and colleagues, who provided the graduates with guidance and encouragement and believed in their abilities.
At the conclusion of the two ceremonies, the administrations of the two academies honored the male and female graduates, celebrating the excellence they had achieved during their educational career, and reflecting the commitment of Sheikh Zayed Private Academies to supporting male and female students and preparing them for their future stages.
It is noteworthy that Sheikh Zayed Private Academies is considered one of the prestigious schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as it has been classified as “Distinguished Schools” within the school evaluation framework approved by the Department of Education and Knowledge, and has also been classified as “Distinguished Schools” in the National Identity Mark. The two academies are internationally accredited by the Council for International Schools Accreditation (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and they also received the “Apple Distinguished Schools” award, in recognition of their excellence in employing technology and innovation in education.
