A fan suffers a heart attack before the opening match of the World Cup

A non-Mexican fan suffered a heart attack outside the Estadio Azteca, shortly before the opening match of the FIFA World Cup in Mexico City between Mexico and South Africa.
The injured man was taken to the hospital while the police confirmed that his condition was stable. The authorities in Mexico did not immediately reveal any details regarding the nationality of the fan in a statement on the “X” platform, but they said that he was not Mexican.
High temperatures are expected to be a common problem among players and fans throughout the longest World Cup ever, which is hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, as Mexico City is also located at high altitude.
