7 competitions for the athletics team in the Arab Championship in Tunisia
Tunisia, April 28 / WAM / Our national athletics team will participate tomorrow and the day after tomorrow in 7 competitions within the third and closing days of the 21st Arab Championship for men and women under 20 years of age, which is currently being held in Tunisia until April 30th.
Ali Ghazwan, director of our national team, confirmed that the competitions scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday include the 200 meter race for the male and female categories, the hammer throw for the male and female categories as well, the 4 x 100 meter relay for male and female youth, and the javelin throw and pole vault for the female category.
He praised the performance of player Samar Saleh in the high jump competitions yesterday, and her closeness to winning the bronze medal for the distance of 1.55 cm, and noted the advanced levels of all the team members in the tournament, which confirms the solid base of qualified elements born in 2010, especially since they are competing with male and female participants born in 2007.
