Established an embassy The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Moscow, represented by the Cultural Mission, a symposium entitled: "A century of Friendship and cultural and scientific exchange" At the University of Friendship and Peoples (Ruden) in the Russian capital Moscow, on Tuesday.

This came on the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Saudi-Russian Diplomatic Relations, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Latifa Al Faryan, and a number of university deans and professors.

Developing the skills of the people of the nation

The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Sami bin Muhammad Al-Sadhan, gave a speech in which he reviewed the importance of relations in the fields of education and culture, pointing to the Kingdom’s efforts to pay attention to education as one of the pillars of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to develop the skills of the sons and daughters of the nation, raise their level of knowledge and competence, and prepare them for the future labor market.
He pointed out that Russian universities have an academic level. Distinguished globally, especially in the fields of engineering sciences, medicine, space sciences and other fields that provide scientific and practical skills and experience.

Strengthening Saudi-Russian relations

Ambassador Al-Sadhan explained that strengthening Saudi-Russian relations in the scientific, educational and cultural fields, in addition to the existing cooperation in the economic, commercial and investment aspects, is considered a cornerstone in pushing the level of these relations to more comprehensive, broader and deeper levels.
